Jean Paul Brewster was born on December 12, 1858 in St. Louis Missouri.  He 
was the son of Henry Brewster and Rebecca H. Brady.  He lived in Newark, New 
Jersey for most of his life.  He married Lizzie A. Williams, daughter of Louis 
M. Williams and Frances Adele Taylor.  His children were: Leslie Allen 
Brewster, Harriet Brewster, and Helen Brewster.  I am not sure of the date 
this photo was taken.  I would suspect it was around 1920.  Jean Paul Brewster 
was a leather splitter from 1880-1910.  He was a collector for Kirch and 
Company at the time of his death in 1922.
