New-Jersey Journal May 24, 1786
Notice is hereby given,
To the CREDITORS of SAMUEL ALLEN AND JOSEPH GOULD, Insolvent Debtors, now 
confined in the goal at Newark, in the county of Essex, and state of New-
Jersey, that they be, and appear before two or more of the Judges of the 
Inferior Court of Common Pleas of said county of Essex, at the Court-House, on 
Monday the 29th day of May, at Ten of the Clock in the forenoon, to show 
cause, if any they have, why an assignment of said insovlents estates should 
not be made, and they be discharged from their confinement, pursuant to the 
statute of New-Jersey in such case made and provided.
