New-Jersey Journal, Page 4 May 24, 1786
Notice is hereby given,
That the majority of owners of a tract of land, known by the name of the Great 
Piece in Horse Neck, in the county of Essex, intend to apply to the 
legislature at their next sitting in New-Brunswick, to obtain a law for the 
partition of the said tract, among the owners thereof in severality - of which 
all persons concerned are desired to take notice accordingly.
