  REV. DR. ALLEN H. BRONW, who was one of the oldest Presbyterian ministers in 
New Jersey, died on November 5, 1907, at Montclair, aged eighty-seven years.  
For the greater part of his life he was a missionary in the southern counties 
of the state, whither he went immediately after his ordination at Princeton 
Theological Seminary.  He was born in New York city and graduated from 
Columbia College.  For many years he held the position of synodical missionary 
of the Presbyterian church, retiring from the ministry about ten years before 
his death.  He left a sister, a son and two daughters.  He became a life 
member of the Society on May 20, 1875.
