JAMES CLEMENT, the son of SAMUEL and REBECCA CLEMENT, departed this life the 
20th day of May, Anno: Domi 1756, in the 22nd year of his age.

ANN CLEMENT, daughter of SAMUEL and REBECCA CLEMENT, was born the - - - - - 
(illegible) day of 8 month, 1725 (October).

JACOB CLEMENT, son of SAMUEL and REBECCA CLEMENT, was born 11 day of ye 10 
month, 1727 (December).

SAMUEL CLEMENT, son of SAMUEL and REBECCA CLEMENT, was born ye 2 day of ye 11 
month, 1731/2 (January).

JAMES CLEMENT, son of SAMUEL and REBECCA CLEMENT, was born 4 day of ye 3 month, 
1754, (May).

JOSEPH CLEMENT, son of SAMUEL and REBECCA CLEMENT, was born ye 28 day of ye 2 
month, 1738, (April).

ABIGAIL CLEMENT was born ye 7 day of ye 7 month, 1739, (September).

HANNAH CLEMENT was born ye 20 day of ye 3 month, 1742.

REBECCA CLEMENT was born ye 9 day of ye 5 month, 1743, (July).

MARY CLEMENT was born ye 5 day of ye 9 month, 174- (torn).

ABEL CLEMENT, son of SAMUEL and RUTH CLEMENT, was born ye 9 day of September, 
1749.

RACHEL CLEMENT, daughter of SAMUEL and RUTH CLEMENT, was born ye 12 day of ----- 
month, 1751/2.

THOMAS CLEMENT, son of SAMUEL and RUTH CLEMENT, was born ye 7th day of 12th 
month (obid December 1754).

MARY CLEMENT, daughter of SAMUEL and RUTH CLEMENT, was born ye 13 day of ye 10 
month (obid October 1761).

(JOHN)* CLEMENT, the son of JOSEPH and ANN CLEMENT, was born the 28th day of 
Second Month called February at Eight o'clock in the Evening in the year of our 
Lord 1762.

* The page was torn and the name JOHN was missing but from other sources the 
name of this son was obtained.

REBECCA CLEMENT, the daughter of JOSEPH and ANN CLEMENT, was born the 12 day of 
the tenth month called October at Eight o'clock in the Evening in the year of 
our Lord 1763.

JOSEPH CLEMENT, the son of JOSEPH and ANN CLEMENT, was born the 18th day of the 
tenth called October at Eight o'clock in the morning in the year of our Lord 
1765.

JAMES CLEMENT, the son of JOSEPH and ANN CLEMENT, was born the 01th day of 
December at half a Houer after one in the morning in the year of our Lord 1769.

ANN CLEMENT, the daughter of JOSEPH and ANN CLEMENT, was born the 7th day of the 
3 month, 1776.

HANNAH CLEMENT, the daughter of JOSEPH and ANN CLEMENT, was born the 31 day of 
the 7 month, 1778.



The foregoing record was copied from the old family Bible of Samuel Clement, 
October 5, 1929, and is now in the possession of Miss Elizabeth C. Saunders, 
Woodbury, N.J.
