(Bridgeton, N.J.) 1851-1884: July 12, 1856 July 12, 1856 We understand that as Mr. Samuel Pimm and wife, of Harrisonville, in Gloucester county, were on their way to attend the Ladies’ Festival at Woodstown, on the 4th of July, the bolt came out of the tongue of the carriage, and the horses took fright and ran away, very seriously injuring Mrs. Pimm, and also Mrs. Roberts, who was with them, and Mr. Pimm himself was also somewhat injured, but we believe not seriously. At the last accounts Mrs. Pimm’s life was despaired of.
