Will of Thomas Davidson (5050H W-I 1855) Gloucester Co, NJ, Book E-338


In the name of God Amen. I Thomas Davidson of the township of Greenwich in the 
County of Gloucester and State of New Jersey, being of Sound mind memory and 
understanding (for which blefsing I thank God) do make and Publish this my last will and 
testament, in manner following that is to say
FIRST__ It is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expences be duly 
paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease.
Item__ It is my will and I do order my Executors hereinafter named to sell all my real 
estate at public Sale viz. My House where I now live and eleven acres of land more or 
lefs connected therewith_ also five and an half acres of land near the village of Berkley 
fronting on the Salem road__ a piece of land below the road leading from Berkley to 
Mullica Hill containing eight acres of land more or lefs, adjoining land of Restore 
Lippincott & others__ Also nine acres of meadow on Great Mantua Creek adjoining 
lands of the heirs of William Haines deceased and others
Item__  I also leave all my personal property to be sold at public Sale__ and after all my 
real estate and personal property is sold as above stated, and all my just debts paid, I 
leave all the balance of my estate to be equally divided between my Seven children, viz 
Thomas, William, John, Isaac, Sarah, Elizabeth and Maria, Share and Share alike,
Item__ It is my will that if any of my above named children should die, before they 
Should heir any of my estate, then it is my Will that the children of Said deceased child 
should take their parent's share.
Lastly    I hereby appoint my two sons namely Thomas Davidson and William Davidson 
Executors of this my last Will and testament.  Witnefs my hand and seal this twenty 
ninth day of November A.D. one thousand eight Hundred and fifty.
