C.S. Filips to unknown correspondent: 
" Enclosed is the Philip T. Hunt's records. From what I have, I suppose Sarah 
Bainbridge -  the wife of Lott Phillips - to be the daughter of m. Bainbridge 
born July 11, 1740 & he is likely the son of John Bainbridge & wife Mary, who 
owned land near Jacobs creek & left some to his son Wm. Besides Wm he names 
Edmund, Dead by 1760. Theophilus, Marge, Rebecca, Hannah, Sarah minor and 
Abigail minor - Theophilus and Abigail to have money at 18. (will 1765). Wm born 
(1740) would seem to be a grandson of John Bainbridge (through John & Mary 
above) of Maidenhead (will proved 1732) tomb to be erected - wife died March 27 
1732 Edmund, Rebecca, Mary, John, Daughter Elizabeth's son John Yard - Kinsman 
Theophilus Phillips -Witness Wm and Joseph Phillips. Deed - Apr. 1745 John 
Bainbridge & Mary of Somerset Co. to Samuel Hunt of Maidenhead 650 acres by 
Paquass Pond - recorded 1775, Witness Wm. Phillips, John Phillips Timothy Hunt & 
Fanny Phillips (Richard 1705) had a son Richard Hunt who married Hannah 
Phillips, daughter of John and Abigail Phillip above. But I cannot place Philip 
T. Hunt as yet.  Hunt book... (next page missing) 
 
 Lott Phillips and Sarah Bainbridge were married the nineth day of December 
1802. 
*William Phillips was born the twenty nineth day of September 1803. 
Theophilus was born the twefth day of February 1805. 
Azariah was born the eighteenth day of September 1806. 
Mary was born the nineth day of December 1808. 
Hanah was born the second day of October 1810. 
Franceney Harriet was born the twenty first (25th C.S.F.) day of December 1813. 
Susannah was born the thirthieth day of June 1817. (Married Horace Augustus 
Wambaugh Sept. 10, 1842) 
John was born the fourteenth day of December 1819. 
Titus was born the eleventh day of November 1821. 
Montgomery Howell was born the twelfth day of April 1825. 
Montgomery Howell the son of Lott Phillips and Sarah his wife departed this life 
September 14, 1851 aged 25 years - 5 mos. (? 3 mos. 2 days C.S.F) 
Abigal the wife of John Phillips departed this life March 19, 1814. 
John Phillips, Senior, her husand departed this life May 19, 1819. 
Theophilus the son of Lott Phillips and Sarah his wife departed this life 
September 5, 1823 aged 18 years 6 mos. 
Mary the daughter of Lott Phillips and Sarah his wife departed this life 
December 15, 1830.  She was twenty-one years-and six days old. 
Lott Phillips the husband of Sarah Phillips departed this life September 8, 
1858. Aged 80 years 8 months. 
Sarah Phillips died December 16, 1862 aged 80 years, 8 months - 9 days. 
Titus Phillips died February 13, 1863 aged 41 years, 3 mos. - 2 days.
