She was quiet in her actions and conduct, obedient at home, eager for knowledge Zion Lutheran Church Records 1771-1801 in the house of instruction, especially at the end, and, finally, a faithful admirer of Jesus. In her we have lost a promising ornament of our youth. She had been innoculated, and had scarcely recovered to some degree, when she caught a cold. Her blood issued strongly from her mouth, nose and the pox. Bleeding and a fever seem to have been the means by which the Lord removed her to eternity.
