Hunt & wife of hopewell, County of Hunterdon & State of New Jersey, to John Godown, Jacob Godown, Thomas Godown, Mary Godown, Daniel Thatcher, James Gano, Fregit Rounsavilt, Isaac Lake, & Thomas Lann all lately or now of the township of Amwell, County & State afsd. for three certain tracts or parcels of land adjoining each other in Amwell Butted and bounded as follows Viz. Beginning at a post that is corner to land s of Garret Vandolah & running from thence North 14 degrees east 39 chains & 20 links to a large black oak tree for a corner, thence by land of John Covenhoven’s North --- degrees West 23 chains & 38 links to a corner stone of John ---, thence by --- line South 63 degrees west 45 chains & 49 links to a stone corner to land of Richard Green’s thence by land of sd Greens South 29 Degrees & a half east 7 Chains & sixty six links to another corner Stone of the sd Greens land thence by another of Greens lines South sixty five degrees west 7 chains nineety links to another stone for a corner, thence South 10 degrees & 30 minutes east 29 chains and sixty links to another stone for a corner, thence south 70 degrees east seventeen chains & eighty two links to the place of begining Containing 120 acres & an half of Land - Lott 2nd Beginning at a heap of Stones formerly a corner of Peter Vandolahs land thence by lands already mentioned, being the first lott herin described late Evan Godown’s, North -4 degrees east 16 chains & 90 links, thence South 30 degrees east 6 chains & 40 links thence south 53 degrees east 6 chains & 50 links, thence south 73 degrees west 9 chains & 47 links to the place of beginning Containing 6 acres & 3 quarters of land - Lott 3rd Beginning at a post a corner of the before described lands runs from thence along the said Described line North 14 degrees east 12 chains to a post thence South -- degrees east nine chains & -0 links to a large black oak, thence by lands of John Wilsons South 27 degrees west 14 chains to a post in a line formerly Peter Vandolas thence along sd line North 69 degrees west6 chains & 50 links to the place of beginning - Containing 9 acres & 3 quarters of an acre - the 3 Lotts together containing 157 acres Together with &c. To have and to hold --- the principle sums are exposed therein - 102 pounds gold & silver money payable 1st of May 1793, 100 pounds like money payable 1st of May 1794, 75 pounds like money payable 1st of May 1795 - agreeable to the --- of three certain bonds bearing --- date --- with --- 25 pounds --- the condition of a certain bond --- herewith payable as the children of Amos Thatcher deceased become of the age of 21 years, provided they sign the deed made to the Sd Samuel Hunt by the other heirs now of age - & give a quit-claim for the same - 25 pounds to be on interest from the 11st Day of May 1795 Proviso when paid the deed to be void Samuel Hunt Mary Hunt Sealed & delivered in the presence of Jos.
