Akers & Wife to Willm Coxe Mortgage Deed from Thomas Acres & Ruth his wife of the township of Amwell in the County of Hunterdon & State of New Jersey to William Cox of Bucks County in the State of Pennsylvania dated this eighteenth day of May one thousand seven hundred eighty five for two certain Plantations & Tracts of land lying in the Townships of Amwell and Hopewell Butted & Bounded as follows Beginning at a white Oak Tree to a corner of James Wilson then North seventy five Degrees East fifteen chains & fifty Links to a stake for a corner in the thirty thousand Line thence said Line North twelve Degrees & a half West eighteen chains twenty Lynks to a Hickory Corner to Jonathan Smith, thence along Smiths Line South sixty eight Degrees East ten Chains thirty six Links to a Corner near a white Oak corner to seven acres thence along the seven acres North thirty one Degrees West eleven ch. Fifty five Lynks to an Elm for a Corner, Thence North eighteen Degrees West two Chains to a Stone by the side of the Road, then North seventy eight Degrees East eight Chains seventy nine lks to Jonathan Smiths Line, thence along said Line North four Degrees West eleven Chains eleven Links to a Stone Corner to Jonathan Smith, thence by his Line South seventy two Degrees West seven Chains to another of Smiths corners, thence by his Line North twelve Degrees West sixteen chains fity Lynks to another of Smiths Corners thence West eight chains to a corner in the thirty thousand Line, thence by the same south twelve Degrees & a half East nineteen chains seventy Lynks to a Corner in said Line, thence South seventy eight Degrees West sixteen Chains sixty Links to a Corner Stone in the Road Land thence by his Land south twelve Degrees East thirty four Chains to the Beginning and containing in whole eighty nine Acres of Land to be the same more or less Together with --- To have and to hold & the Principal sum due & expressed therein two hundred & ten Pounds Gold & Silver Money only together with lawful Interest for the same payable on or before the eighteenth day of May one thousand seven hundred & eighty six agreeably to the condition of a certain bond bearing Date herewith Proviso when paid the Deed to be void etc - Thos.
