Deaths
On the 1st instant Feb'ry 1841--
Henry Rockafellar Esq'r aged 94 years-- He had been a ruling Elder in the
Presbyterian church of Alexandria more than forty years with good acceptance and
great usefulness, --
He had raised 12 children, had 77 grandchildren and had 170 great grandchildren
and 17 great great grandchildren The whole numbers of descendants 276. The above
statement was taken from one of his children collected and made with care about
three years since, the number now is believed to be considerably larger
