West-Jersey pioneer. (Bridgeton, N.J.) 1851-1884: 2 June 1855
Died in Newport, on the 11th of April, John Sowder, in the 36th year of his age.
Brother Sowder was formerly a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, but last
Winter united with the Methodist Protestant Church, under the Pastoral charge of
Rev. J. N. Timberman, and up to the day of his death, lived a faithful member...
