Bert S.Vogel died at 3p.m.Wednsday at his home in Riverside. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs John Carman of this city;Mrs Lee Blakeslee of New Milford, Mrs Jack Griffis of Montrose;four sons,Stanley Vogel and Edwin Vogel,both of Hallstead,Private Joseph Vogel of Camp Bullis Tex, and Corp Francis Vogel in the foreign service; a sister.Mrs Mary Bivins of Brooklyn;two brothers,Morris Vogel of Scranton andFloyd Vogel of Hackettstown.N.J.;14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.The body was removed to the O.E.Tuttle Funeral Home,Hallstead Pa. Funeral arrangements will be made there. Bert Burt,A/K/A Stuart,Stewart Vogel Records indicate that Bert Vogel died on May 19, 1943 in Kirkwood, N.Y. That would be Broome County NY; According to his records, he was born in Easton, Pa. on July 23, 1875,son of James and Rebecca Woolever Vogel. He was 67 years old at the time of death.
