And calling to mind the mortality of my body & knowing it is appointed to Each men once to die Do make & ordain this my last Will and Testament. And . . . of all I give and commend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God that gave it. My body I commend to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner at the Discretion of my Executors [?] hereafter named Nothing doubting but at the general . . . I shall receive the Same by the mighty grace of God. And as . . . my worldly Estate wherewith it Hath pleased God to bless me in this Life I give Devise [?] & Dispose of the Same in the following manner . . . I will that all those Debts that I owe to any person or persons be faithfully & honestly paid. Item I give and bequeath to my loving wife Kezia Balding the best Room in my Dwelling House during the time of her widowhood with all my moveable Estate and whom I likewise make and ordain my only & Sole Executrix of this my last Will & Testament. Except . . . and of my moveable Estate for my Daughter Ruth Burt. I give and bequeath unto my Son Stephen Balding all my Plantation containing One Hundred . . . of Land to be Possessed & Enjoyed by him his Heirs & Assigns after that . . . & Debts shall be paid and following Legacies out of the Same. Viz. To Moses Balding Sixty pounds to be paid one year & half after my Decease. To Thomas Balding thirty pounds to be paid at 12 months after my Decease. To Joseph Balding Thirty pounds and To Elnathan Balding Twenty to be paid each at 21 years age. Item I will & Ordain my Plantation bot of Caleb Kerman be Sold and the Money equally divided among my Five Youngest Sons and that if either of my three Sons Viz. Thomas Joseph and Elnathan shd die before they are age of Twenty one or Thomas’s portion becomes payable . . . shall be equally divided amongst my Surviving Sons. Item I will & Ordain that upon the Decease of my Wife Kezia my moveable Estate be equally divided among my surviving children And I do hereby utterly disavow [?] revoke & . . . all and every other former Testament, Will, Legacies & . . . by me in any Way before this time named, willed & Bequeathed, Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will & Testament.
