Proved Nov. 17, 1739 Lib. 4, p. 209 My Notes:There is no mention of Peter Sr In The Name Of God Amen The Ninth Day of October in the year of Our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred & thirty nine I Henry Wooliever of the Township of Amwell County of Hunderton & Western Division of the Province of New Jersey Carpenter being Sick & Weak in Body but of perfect mind & Memory Thanks be given to God.therefore Calling unto Mind the Mortality of my body,and knowing that it is Appointed for all men Once to Die do make & Ordain this my Last Will & Testement.That is to Say Principally & first of all I Give & Recomend my Soul into the hands of God that gaveit;& for my Body,I Recomend it to the Earth to be Buried in a Christian Like & Decent manner,at the direction of my Executors nothing Doubling but at the General Resurection,I shall Receive the Same again By the Mighty Power of God. & as touching Such wordly Estate,where with it hath pleased God to help me in this Life I live ---&---of the same in the following Manner & Form. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - IMPROVISIONS: I give & Bequeath to Ann my Dearly Beloved Wife all my Estate both Real & Personal until my Son Peter comes to the age of Twenty One years then I Will that my Said Son Peter [to him his ----------unreadable]all my Lands & if my Wife Should marry before my Children that is or may Be Comes to age she shall bring up the Said Children without any Charge to the said ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - I Give & Bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth the Sum of Forty Pounds to be paid by my Son Peter when She comes to the Age twenty One years & if it Should So Happen that my Wife Should prove with Child if it be a boy then I will that My Son Peter Shall pay unto the said boy Twenty Five Pounds when he Comes to the age of twenty one years,Lawful money of the Province & to my Daughter Elizabeth but Twenty Pounds of the above said Forty & if it should prove to be a girl then I will that my Son Peter Shall pay unto the said Girl Twenty Pounds of Good & Lawful money of the Province when she comes to the age of Twenty One Years & to my Daughter Elizabeth but Twenty Pounds of the above Said Forty ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ITEM: I Nominate & appoint Peter Wooliever Son & Peter Rockiferrle Son both of the Township of Amwell County & Province above Said to be the Excurtors of this my Last will & Testament ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - LASTLEY: I Do Hereby utterly Disallow,revoke,& Dis--- all & every other former Testament Wills Leagacies & Eaecutors by me in any ways before this time Named Willed & Bequeathed Ratifying & Confirming this & no Other to be my Last will and Testerment.In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal the day & year put on the Side written. the words on the other side was Interlined before Sealing & Delivery}-----------Signed Henry Woolever Hereof Signed Sealed Published Pronounced & Declared by the Said Henry Wooliever As His Last Will & Testament in the Presence of Us Joseph Bast Jacob Woolever Chris Search ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Joseph Bast one of the witnesses to the foregoing Will being duly sworn made oath, that he saw Henry Woolliever the testador in the said Will named signed and sealed the same heard him publish pronounce & declare the within written Insturment to be his Last Will & Testament that at the doing thereof the said testor was of sound & ------ mind memory & understanding as far as he knows verify beleive & that.at the same time Jacob Woolleaver & Christofer Search the other describing witness were present & signed there Names as witness to the said Will together with this---- in presence of the said Testor Sworn at Burlington the Seventeenth Day of November D1739 before me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter Woollever & Peter Rockefeller the Execulors within named being duly sworn did depose that the foregoing Instrument contains the true Last Will & Testament of Henry Woolliever the Testor herein named so far as they know & as they verify beleive & that they will shall & duly perform the same.
