I William Bainbridge of the Township of Hopewell County of Hunterdon and State of New Jersey being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this for my last Will and Testament. First It is my will and order that all my Just Debts and funeral charges be first paid and discharged out of my Estate by my Executor hereafter mentioned. Secondly I give and bequeath unto my Wife Hannah one bed and bedding one cow to be kept on the farm summer and winter with a sufficient Quantity of household goods to keep house also in sufficient Provisions and clothing to keep her comfortable while she remains my widow also the sum of one Hundred pounds to be paid and performed by my son Timothy. Thirdly I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Clariyse one bed and bedding one cow sufficient outfit of household goods to keep house to be paid her at the time of her marriage also her living on my farm with my son Timothy to be provided for by him while she remains single. Fourthly I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary one bed and bedding one cow sufficient outfit of household goods to keep house to be paid her at the time of my decease if not before she has received the same. Fifthly I give and bequeath unto my grandson William, the son of Lott Phillips the sum of forty pounds to be paid when he arrives at the age of Twenty one years also to my grandson Theophilus the son of Lott Phillips the sum of five pounds to be paid in the same manner above mentioned. Sixthly I give and bequeath unto my son Timothy all the Residue and remainder part of my estate both real and personal to him his heirs and Assigns forever I do hereby consitute and appoint my son Timothy sole Executor to this my last will and Testament --- and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of August in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight Hundred and Seventeen William Bainbridge Signed Sealed published and Declared by the said William Bainbridge to be his last Will and Testament in the presents of the --- Abraham Temple Stephen Titus George Titus Hunterdon County Stephen Titus one of the witnesses to the within will being duly sworn did depose and say that he saw William Bainbridge the Testator therein named, sign and seal the same and hear him publish pronounce and declare the within writing to be his last will and Testament.
