I, THOMAS ROGERS, of Hunterdon County in the Western Division of New Jersey, being in my right mind and senses, though in a low condition, and considering the uncertainty of this ---- life, do therefore make and ordain this my last will and testament; that is to say - First, after all my just debts be paid and discharged, I give and bequeath unto my loving son, ALEXANDER ROGERS, the part of the plantation over the river in Lebanon Township, adjoining to JAMES MARTIN, commonly called the Plant; and I do give and bequeath unto my second son, SAMUEL ROGERS all the remaining part of the aforesaid plantation with all singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, and I do give and bequeath unto my aforesaid son, ALEXANDER ROGERS all and singular my real and personal estate and premises in the township of Kingwood, together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, and the Negro man, called Joseph and the Negro girl called Pegg; and I do give and bequeath to my third son, JOHN ROGERS Two Hundred Pounds current lawful money and one horse at ten pounds price and two cows to be raised out my estate and lands aforementioned to be paid him in three years after my decease or death by my Executor hereafter mentioned; and I do give and bequeath unto my fourth son WILLIAM ROGERS Two Hundred Pounds current lawful money of the Province aforesaid and one horse of ten pounds price and two cows to be raised out of my estate and lands aforementioned to be paid him three years after my decease or death by my Executors hereafter mentioned and I do give and bequeath unto my daughter, RUTH ROGERS One Hundred Pounds current lawful money of the Province and my riding mare, her saddle and bridle and a chest of drawers that belonged to her Mother to be raised and paid her out of my estate and land by my Executors hereafter mentioned in five years after my decease or death likewise I make and ordain my sons ALEXANDER ROGERS and SAMUEL ROGERS to be Executors of this my last will and testament and do hereby utterly disallow and revoke all former will or wills by me made.
