In the Name of God Amen the Eleventh Day of December 1720 I peter Lot of Hopwell 
in the county of Hunterton and in the province of New Jersey yeoman being very 
sick and weak in body but of sound mind and memary thanks be give to God. 
therefore Calling to mind the mortality of my body and the shortness and 
uncertainty of human Life Do make and --- this my last will and Testament viz I 
Recommend and assign my soul into the hands of God the Father of --- and my body 
to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buried in Decent Christian Burial 
According to the Descretion of my Executor hoping for a Reunion of my Soul and 
body at the General Resurrection and a portion among them that are sanctified 
this my --- and --- and Jesus Christ who hath overcame --- the that had the 
power of Death & that --- and Touching such worldly estate as God has blessed me 
with while in this Live Give Devise and dispose of it in manner and form 
following.Imprimis my will is that all my Lands and Tenements both here and at 
Burlington be sold by my Executors and my Debts paid out of same.  And then if 
the Remainder or --- my Debts are paid and of all other my Estate, Goods or 
Chattels I give and bequeath unto Nishe my Dearly Beloved Wife one third part to 
her and her heirs and Assigns forever.Item I give and Bequeath unto my five 
children all the remainder of my Estate, Goods or Chattels to be Equally divided 
among them (Except five shillings wch I give to my son Peter more than to the 
rest) wch I bequeath to their proper use and behoof, to them and their heirs and 
assigns foreverMorever my will is that my Dearly Beloved Wife afrsd and my 
Loving Sons Peter and John Phillips The executors of this my Last Will and 
Testament. And I do hereby utterly Disallow Revoke and Disannul all other 
Testaments, wills, Bequests and Executions in any ways be me before named willed 
and bequeathed.  Ratifying and confirming this an no other as my Last Will and 
Testament the Day and ear above written
