I Richard Rounsavell of the Township of Amwell, County of Hunterdon and western Division of the Province of New Jersey, Yeoman, being weak in body but of sound mind and perfect memory, blessed be God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and Form following (That is to say) First My will and order is that all my just Debts and funeral charges be paid by my Executors herein afternamed. Item, I give and Bequeath unto my beloved wife Rachel Rousnavell all my real and personal estate which I now possess during her natural life for the support of my said beloved wife and the maintenance of my children, at the Discretion of my said Executor. Item, I give and Devise unto my Beloved Son Freegift Rounsavell my tow Lotts of Land situated in the Township of Kingwood and bought of John Rounsavell, containing Eleven Acres and seventeen Rods and to him the said Freegift Rounsavell his Heirs and Assigns forever, to be by Him enjoyed when he arrives to he age of Twenty Five years. Item, My will farther is, That in case any of my children should incline to learn a trade - Then he or she shall be bound to the same at the Discretion of m said Executors. Items, My Will and Order is, That in one year after the Death of my widow all my real and personal Estate, except what is above Devised shall be sold and the monies arising from the sale of the same to be equally divided between my surviving children, to be by them enjoyed when they arrive to the age of Twenty One years. Item, My will farther is, That in case any of my said children should die before they arrive to the age of Twenty one years- being unmarried and not having lawfull issue - then his or her share of my said Estate to be equally Divided between the surviving Legatees. Lastly I constitute and appoint my said beloved Rachel Rounsavell executrix and my Beloved Brother in law Isaac Stout Executor of this my last will and Testament hereby Revoking all former wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the 20th Day of January in the Year of our Lord, One Thousand Seven hundred and seventy seven Rich. Rounsavell Signed, Sealed, published and Declared by the above named Richd. Rounsavell to be his last will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the said Testator.
