That is to say Principally and first of all, I Give and recommend my soul unto the hands of God that gave it, and for my body I recommend it to the Earth to be Buried in a Christian Like and Decent manner, at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter Named no thing Doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall Receive the same again by the Mighty Power of God and as Touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this Life I give Devise and Dispose in the Following Manner and Form...... Imprimus It is my will that all my just debts be paid out of my Movable Estate by my Executors Item I give and bequeath unto my oldest Son Philip Phillips the Sum of Twenty Shillings to be --- out of my Movable Estate to be paid him one year after my Decease I give and bequeath unto my Son Abner Phillips a piece of Land Lying on the --- the Kings Road Beginning at the Old house corner and so Down land Hunt Line, Twelve Acre, to him his heirs and Assigns forever I Give and Bequeath unto my Son Samuel Phillips my mantion Dwelling house and Plantation when he shall come to the age of Twenty One Years to him his heirs and Assigns For Ever, It is also my will that my said son Samuel Phillips shall pay unto my youngest son John Phillips when he shall come to the ag o f Twenty one years the Sum of Thirty Pound Proclamation money I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Esther Phillips the Sum of Twenty Pounds Proclamation money to be paid unto her at the day of Mariage Either in money or other Goods, And it is also further my will that my Daughter Ruth Phillips to have Twenty Pound Proclamation money, paid unto her by my Exrs. at the day of mariage Either in money or goods It is my will that my son John Phillips to remain with my son Samuel Phillips Till he comes to the age of Sixteen then to be putt out by my Executors to Learn some good Trade I give unto my well beloved wife Elizabeth Phillips the sum of Fifty Pounds Proclamation to be --- out of my Movable Estate and To have the best Room in my mantion dwelling --- to Live in so Long as she shall remain my widow It is also my will & I do nominate and appoint my Loving wife Elizabeth Phillips Together with my son Philip Phillips junr to be my Executors to this my Last will and Testament and & Do hereby utterly Disallow revoke and Disannull all and every other former Testament will Legacies and Executors by me in any ways before This Time named willed and Bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my Last will & Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand & seal the day and year above --- Philip Phillips Sealed Published Pronounced and Declard by the said Philip Phillips his Last will and Testament in the presence of us the subscribers Samuel Hunt John Van Cleve Lewis Charles Fanuiel
