All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nj/njfiles.htm ************************************************ I Richard Furman of the Township of Trenton being weak in body but of Sound and Perfect Memory Praise be given to almighty God for the same, And as for my Temporal Estate Knowing the Uncertainty of this life Do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner following, First I will that my Just Debts and funeral expences be paid by my Executors hereafter named Imprimis: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Furman all my Movable Estate excepting the legacies therein named also the house wherein my son Josiah Furman now Dwells, whe paying all my Debts that his to say the house During her widdowhood, Item I give and bequeath to my beloved sons Jonathan and Josiah Furman all my lands and Plantation and buildings to be equally divided between them as they come of age, unless that piece on the five Mile --- --- my son Jonathan's part to be paid to him --- to Harts land & they paying --- --- --- of six pounds a year and finding her firewood during her Widdowhood.I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Francis Furman the interest of Sixty pounds a year During his life to be Paid by my sons Jonathan and Josiah Furman out of the plantation - Item I give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Sarah Closon the sum of ten Pounds Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Mary Clarke the sum of five Pounds Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Elizabeth Kitchen the sum of five pounds all which last name dis to be paid by my Executors hereafter named in one Year after my Decease to be paid out of my movable Estate, and I do hereby nominate and appoint my beloved sons Jonathan Furman and Josiah Furman And Joseph Decow or the Survivors of them to be my Executors of this my last Will and Testament And I do herreby revoke and Disavow all former wills and Testaments made and this and no other to be my last will and Testament In Whitness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this thirteenth day of february in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty two.
