R.W. Springer Sr. Dies; 
Former Resident Here

  Ralph W. Springer Sr., a former resident of Trenton,
died yesterday in Dr. Farmer's Hospital, Allentown, 
after a long illness.  Mr. Springer, who was 71 years
old, had lived here for 41 years and was a retired
contractor.  For the past three years he had resided
with a daughter Mrs. Phil G. Bishop of Ocean City.
  Mr. Springer, who was the husband of the Mrs. Mary
C. Springer, also is survived by another daughter,
Mrs. Samuel Nussey Jr. of Yardley; three sons, Ralph
W. Jr. of Trenton; Charles E., of West Palm Beach,
Fla., and Kevin F., of Beesley's Point, N.J.; a 
brother, John of Lakewood, and a sister, Mrs. Mary
Stiles of Millville.  Nine grandchildren also survive.
  Mr. Springer was a member of the Carpenters & 
Millwrights union No. 31.
  The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2
o'clock from the Saul Memorial Home, 1740 Greenwood
Avenue.  The Rev. William M. Boaz of the Westminster
Presbyterian Church will officiate.  Interment will
be in Greenwood Cemetery.  Friends may call at the 
Memorial Home tomorrow night from 7 to 9 o'clock.

SPRINGER - Entered into rest, on the 21st inst., 
Ralph W. Sr., husband of the late Mary C. Springer, 
age 71 years.  Relatives and friends of the family, 
also Carpenters & Millwrights Union No. 31 are 
invited to attend the funeral from the Saul Memorial 
Home, 1740 Greenwood Avenue, on Tuesday afternoon at 
2 o'clock.  Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.  
Friends may call at the Memorial Home Monday evening.
