The submittor has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ************************************************************************ Will: Daniel Accor: 1772: New Brunswick, Middlesex County, NJ Will of Daniel Accor New Brunswick, Middlesex County, NJ pgs 4869L - 4878L LDS film 0545475 microfilm of original records Note, the court, at least at this time period, kept the original will, with signatures, instead of the clerk transcribing a copy. 4870 In the Name God Amen I, Daniel Accor of New Brunswick in the County of Middlesex and provinence of New Jersay Being of sound mind and memory make this my Last Will and Testament in the following manner Vis. first that so much of my personal estate as is nesessary be applyd for the payment of Just Debts and funeral charges after my Decease, the Remaining Part of my Personal or moveable Estate being Inventoryd and prised I Will shall remain Unsold: with my plantation till the Death or Marriage of my Dearly beloved Wife or Widow Martha Accor and further it is my Will that my said wife or widow and my Daughter Ann be supported with the profits of my Real and personal Estates till the Death or Marriage of my said Wife or Widow and that she my said Wife or Widow have the Command of the house in which I will Live durin the Said Time and it is my will that my son Andrew have the Priviledge of Living on my said plantation until the time I order the same to be sold and to have what he can make more than to support my said Wife or widow and my said Daughter Ann as above said Also I will that at the Death or Mariage of my said Wife or Widow my whole Estate both real and personal be sold as soon as conveniently may be the best way my Exe.s think proper and the money arissing from the sale thereof be applyd in the following manner Vis In Case my said wife or Widow shall Mary I Give unto her one Equal ?? Parsonal Estate Exclusive of what my Real Estate shall fetsh. ITEM I give to my Daughter Mary fifty pounds current Money of the provinence aforesaid at the Eight Shilling ?? to be paid to her or her heirs in two years after my real and personal estate is sold - - - ITEM I give to my Daughter Ann one hundred and forty pounds Current money as aforesaid which I will shall be put to Interest on Good Security and the Interest Arissing therefrom be applyd for the support of my said Daughter During her Natureal Life. and if she should marie and have children then such Children to have the said prise of one hundred and forty pounds at the death of their mother Provided they shall be twenty one years old but not till then. But if she my said Daughter Dye with out Lawfull Isue then the said principal to be Eaquely Devided Between my two sons Daniel and Andrew and my Daughter Mary. ITEM I give the remainder of my whole estate or money arissing from the sale thereof to my two sons Daniel and Andrew to be Eaquelly Devided between them to whome I freely Give it to them and their heirs for Ever. And Lastly, I Do make and appoint my well beloved friends Jonathan Combs and Richard Standly both of the Corporation of New Brunswick in the County and provinence aforesaid my Executors to Execute this my Last Will and testament hereby Revoking all former and other Will or Wills by me made and hereby Declaring this and no other to be my Last Will and testament In Wittness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fourth Day of June Anno. Domini 1762 Signed Sealed published and Declared by the Said Daniel Accor to be his Last will and testament In the presents of us the Subscriber as Wittnesses Daniel Accor Jr. Andrew Accor James Bennet signed Daniel Acard Be it Remembered that on the 15th day of April 1772 Jonathan Combs (the writer of the within will) appeared before me Bowes Reed duly authorized etc. and he being duly sworn did depose that he was present and did see Daniel Accor sign, and seal the within instrument and also heard him pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, that, at the doing thereof he was of sound and disposing mind and memory as far as he knew and verily believed and that Daniel Accor JunŐr Andrew Accor and James Bennet were present at the same time and signed their names as Evidence to the within Instrument and that the Reason this Deponent did not sign his Name as an Evidence was because he was appointed an Executor and therefore apprehended it improper. Be it Remembered that on the 26th day of May 1772 Daniel Accor and Andrew Acor two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within will appeared before Bowes Reed duly authorized etc. and they being duly sworn, did depose that they saw Daniel Accor the Testatory ?? sign and seal the within Instrument and heard him publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, that at the doing thereof he was of sound and disposing mind memory as far as these Deponents know and as they verily believe and that James Bennet, the other Subscribing Witness was present and signed his name as a Witness to the within Will together with these Deponents in the presence of the said Testator.
