In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty five. Ravaud Kearnery, Henry Cuyler, Bryan Liberty, Junior City and County of New York {SS} Be it remembered that on the fourth day of January in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety two personally came and appeared before David Gelston, Surrogate of the said County Ravaud Kearnery of Perth Amboy in the State of New Jersey and being duly sworn on his oath declared that he did see Samuel Dunlap sign and seal an instrument in writing purporting to be the will of the said Samuel Dunlap bearing date the twenty fourth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty five (the preceding whereof is a true copy and heard him publish and declare the same as and for his last will and testament that at the time thereof he the said Samuel Dunlap was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of him the Deponent and that his name subscribed as a witness to the said Will is of his own proper hand writing which he subscribed as a witness thereto in the Testators presence and that the Deponent saw Henry Cuyler and Bryan Liberty Junior the other witnesses to the said will subscribe their names as witnesses thereto in the presence of the Testator. The People of the State of New York by the Grace of God Free and Independent to all whom these presents shall come or may concern Send Greetings, Know ye that at the City and County of New York on the day of the date hereof before David Gelston, Esquire Surrogate of our said County the last Will and Testament of Samuel Dunlap deceased (a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) was proved and is now approved and allowed by us and the said deceased having whilst he lived and at the time of his death Goods Chattels or Credits within this State by means whereof the proving and registering the said Will and the granting administration of all and singular the said Good, Chattels and Credits and also the auditing allowing and final discharging the account thereof doth belong unto us the administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased and any way concerning his Will is granted unto Margaret Dunlap the Executrix in the said Will named she being first duly sworn will and faithfully to administer the same and to make and whilst a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the said Goods Chattels and Credits and also to render a just and true account thereof when thereunto required.
