MRS. GERTRUDE SHARP

     CARTERET - Funeral services were held this morning (Wednesday) for Mrs. 
Gertrude M. Sharp, formerly of 848 King George Road, who died Sunday in Oak 
View Nursing Home, Sayreville. Rev. George Schiesinger, pastor of Wesley 
Methodiest Church, officiated at the services held at Flynn and Son Funeral 
Home. Interment was in North Arlington Cemetery, Franklin.

     Mrs. Sharp, who taught school in Woodbridge for 30 years, retired in 
1960. She was the widow of Howard W. Sharp, retired principal in the 
Woodbridge School System.

     Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marion Thatcher, North Brunswick; a son, 
Howard W. Jr., Woodbridge; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two 
sisters, Mrs. Leslie De Graw of Butler and Mrs. William Carson, Boonton.
