In the Name of God Amen, I Abraham Webb of
the City of Perth Amboy in the County of Middlesex and
Province of New Jersey being sick and Weak in Body
but of Sound and perfect mind and memory, Blessed be
God, Do this twenty ninth day of September in the year of
our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Seventy three
make and publish this my last will and Testament.
first I cCommit my Soul to God and my Body to the
Earth to be decently Buryed at the Discretion of my
Executors herein after appointed. And as to my worldly
Estate I Give Devise and Bequeath the same in man
ner following, that is to say, after payment of my Just
Debts and funeral Charges, I Give to my son John
the sum of five Shillings. Item my will is and I
Do hereby order and Direct that all the Residue and
Remainder of my Estate both Real and Personal be
by my Executors Divided into five Equal parts or
shares, one Equal fifth part of share where of I Give
Devise and Bequeath to my Beloved wife Phebe,
one other Equal fifth part or share to my son Isaac,
one other fifth part or share to my son Pindar,
and the other two Equal fifth parts or shares to my
son Abraham, to them Respectively their heirs and
assigns forever, and in Case of the Death of any or Either
of my said three sons Isaac, Pindar, or Abraham before
they Come to the age of twenty one years then my will
is that the part share or portion of any of the so
dying be Equally divided among my said wife and
the surviving sons (John Excepted). my will also is
that the Proportions of my Estate hereby given to
my sons Isaac, Pindar and Abraham be paid them
at the age of twenty one years Deducting what may

be Necessary Expenses for their bringing up and
Education at th eDiscrtion of my Executors. lastly
I do hereby Constitute and appoint my beloved wife
Phebe Executrix and my friends Jonathan Deare
and Daniel Ayers Executors of this my last will
and Testament, and do hereby Authorize and
- - - - - - them or the Survivor or Survivors of
them to sell Dispose of and Convey all or any part
of my Estate Real and Persona for the payment of
my Debts and the Legacys herein Specified and
I do hereby make void all former wills by me
made and declare this to be my Last Will and
Testament. In Witness whereof I have here
unto set my hand and Seal the day and year
first above written.

Be it Remembered that on the Twenty fourth day of November
17- - Elias Marsh and Peter Kinman two of the Evidences to the annexed
Will appeared before me Bowes Reed duly Authorised - - and they being
severally sworn did depose that, they saw Abraham Webb the Testator
in the annexed Will named sign and seal the same and also heard
him publish pronounce and declare it to be his last Will & Testament,
that, at the doing thereof ------------------------------- [crease]
Memory as far as they know and as they verily believe and also
that Woodhull Turner the other Subscribing Evidence was present
at the same time and signed his name as [an Evidence/strikeout] a Witness
together with each of the Deponents in the presence of the Testator

Also at the same time Phebe Webb, Jonathan Deare and
Daniel Ayers the Executors in the annexed Will named appeared
before me and were duly Qualified to - - - - - - - according to Law
