son James, d. Nov. 27, 1833, aged 0.2.25. 

Crawford, John B., d. Dec. 13, 1834, aged 77.0.16; 
wife Caroline, d. Jan. 21, 1797, aged 40 yrs. and one mo.; 
son Andrew b. d. Mar.4, 1814, aged 26 yrs. and 8 mos.; 
son Elnathan, d. Feb. 13, 1802, aged 0 yrs and 11 mos.;  
son John I., d. July 27, 1832, aged 39.5.13.

Crawford, William I., d. Mar 21, 1833 aged 43.5.10; 
wife Elizabeth, d. Aug. 28, 1865, aged 65.5.23. 


The burial ground is located just outside the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the grounds 
of the PNC Bank (Garden State) Arts Center, right off the Garden State Parkway.
 Before the Arts Center, Memorial or Parkway were built the burial ground was described like this: 
"on a hillside about one half mile east of Crawford Corners. The plot lies about a half mile from the 
road to Everett and is surrounded by woods, making it difficult to find."
My how things have changed!
The inscriptions were copied March 8, 1952, by Edward J. Raser, kept by the Monmouth Historical Society 
who passed a copy on to me (Christina Applegate)in 1988.
James C. and William Crawford were sons of John B. Crawford, who married Caroline, daughter of 
Elnathan Field
