The Seventh-Day Baptist Churchyard, near Hurley’s Corners. Abandoned 1789. (From the Monmouth Book of the Dead). Only one stone remains in this old burial ground. The others have been used in the foundation of a barn. Corliss Fitz Randolph, Esq., has written an excellent history of the Seventh-Day Baptists, part of which relates to the Shark River Church. A copy of the church records is included in the volume, which may be obtained from the author, Fifteenth Avenue Public School, Newark, N.J. (My note: this was published in about 1912, so I wouldn’t be looking for Mr. Randolph!) Davis. Hannah, dau. of Nathan and Anna, d. Mar. 3, 1788, aged 20y. ==================================================================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
