French - Dated Oct 31st 1881 - Received in the clerks office of the county of Monmouth on the 1st day of October A.D. 1883 at 11 o'clock in the fore noon, and recorded in book 372 of Deeds for said county, on pages 134 - Signed J.C.? Arrowsmith Clerk. This indenture, made the thirty first day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty one between Mary Enright (widow) formerly the wife of Edward Brady, deceased of the Township of Shrewsbury in the county of Monmouth and state of New Jersey of the first part: and William A. French of the Township of Shrewsbury in the county of Monmouth and the state of New Jersey of the second part: Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS lawful money of the United States of America, to her in hand well and truly paid by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and the said party of the first part therewith fully satisfied, contented and paid hath given, granted, bargained, sold aliened, released, enfeoffed, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, release, enfeoff, convey and confirm to the said party of the second part, and to his heirs and assigns forever, all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land and premises, hereinafter particularly described, situate, lying and being in the township of Shrewsbury in the County of Monmouth and state of New Jersey. At Red Bank - Beginning at a stake standing where the East side of West Street meets the North side of Wall Street, thence Eastwardly along the north side of Wall Street one hundred and twenty (120) feet, thence northwest by on a line parallel with the east side of West Street forty (40) feet, thence westwardly on a line parallel with the north side of Wall Street one hundred and twenty (120) feet to the east side of West Street, thence, forty (40) feet to the beginning aforesaid being intended to be the same premises conveyed to said Mary Enright and Edward Brady her husband now deceased, by Deed of John H. Martin bearing date March 9th A.D. 1860, recorded in book 154, page 112, in the office of the clerk of Monmouth County. - Signed with her mark, and sealed by Mary Enright.
