Johnson, single, of Borough of Matawan in County of Monmouth and State of New Jersey party of the First Part; and Henry L. Muehlhausen, of the City of Trenton in the County of Mercer and State of New Jersey party of the Second Part:........in consideration of One Dollar and other goods and valuable consideration.......All that certain lot, in Township of Matawan in County of Monmouth, New Jersey and known as lot No. 9, on map entitled Matawan Park, property of Raritan Brick Company divided into lots April 29th, 1912 by Mason and Smith, C.E. Beginning at a point in the south side of First Street distant two hundred and ninety six and fourteeh [sic] hundredths feet from the intersection of said south side of said First Street with the easterly side of Atlantic Avenue as laid down on said map running thence (1) southerly and at right anlges [sic] to First Street one hundred and thirty nine and thirty three hundredths to a point; thence (2) easterly and parallel with First Street fifty feet to a point; thence (3) northerly and parallel with the first described course one hundred and thirty nine and thirty three hundredths feet to the south side of First Street; thence (4)along the south side of First Street fifty feet to the point or place of beginning, bounded on the north by First Street, on the east by lot Eight on the south by lands of the adjoining owner and on the west by lot ten. This conveyance is made subject to and accepted by party of the second part that no building shall be erected on the said land at a cost of less than One Thousand Dollars ($1000) and to be used for residential purposes only. This condition to be a real covenant and to run with the land forever. Being the same premises conveyed to the said John A. Johnson from Martha E. Suydam and William A. Suydam, her husband, by deed dated August 30th, 1924, and recorded in the Monmouth County Clerk's Office in book 1280 of deeds, page 289 & C...................... Additional Comments: Recorded in Clerk's Office of the County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey. Book 1308, page 352. This deed was found in some old documents in Putney, Windham Co., VT. There are some pencil marks on this deed on front in pencil is: OK John A. Miller. 1084 So. [cannot read] Monmouth, NJ.
