This Indenture made the Seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand six hundred ninety eight and eleventh year of his Majesties Reign William by the Grace of God over England etc King: between Thomas Huett of the Town of Shrewsbury and County of Monmouth in the province of East New Jersey Gentleman on the one part and Stofill Longstreet of the Town, County and province aforesaid, Planter on the other part Witnesseth: whereas the abovesaid Thomas Huitt by a deed bearing date the first day of May in the year one thousand six hundred and ninety from under the hand and seale of Samuel Spicer of Burlington in the province of West New Jersey became seized and intituled unto a tract of land situate, lying and being at Deale in the said Shrewsbury in the County and province aforesaid containing two hundred acres Rela-on thereunto being had may more at large appear, Now know thee that the said Thomas Huett for and in consideration of the of the sum of fifty pounds currant silver money of the province aforesaid to him in hand paid by the said Stofill Longstreet at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Thomas Huett do hereby acknowledge and thereof and of and from every part and parcell thereof do clearly and absolutely acquitt, Release, exonerate and discharge the above said Stophell Longstreet his heirs, executors, administrators and every of them firmly by these presents, And he the said Thomas Huet have given, granted, bargained, sold and firmly by these presents do give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff and confirm unto the abovesaid Stoffell Longstreet, his heirs and assigns forever, All aforesaid tract of land containing two hundred acres more or less. Beginning at a stake standing by the sea side that parts Christopher Gifford from the said land thence running West and by South fifty chains into a swamp, thence Northwest westerly fifty chains to a stake standing by a fresh bogg meadow, thence running Southwest twenty chains to a tree marked on three sides thence running Southeast and east one hundred chains to the sea side: bounded on the south by Tobias Hanson North by Christopher Gifford, west by a small brook and East by the sea. Also seven acres of meadow at Patapeck bounded on the North Hannah Jay alias Cook, south and east by Shrewsbury bay and west by Sarah Reape and a small Island of upland in all containing two hundred acres be it more or less. Together with all and all manner of meadows, feedings, pastures, common of pastures, woods, underwoods, trees, waters, and water courses, ponds, pools, pits, easements, profits, commodities, fishings, fowling, hawking, hunting, mines, minerals, Royalties, franchises, and appurtenances whatsoever to the said tract of land and premises belonging or in any manner of ways appertaining and all the estate, right, title, interest, possession, property, claim and demand whatsoever of the said Thomas Huett in and unto the said tract of land and premises or any part or parcell thereof and the reversion and Reversions, remainder and remainders of the said tract of land and all and singular the said premises herein before mentioned with their and every of their rights, members and appurtenances unto the said Stofill Longstreet his heirs and assigns forever together with Pattent, charter, and grant and all other escripts, muniments and writings touching or only concerning the said premises or any part or parcell thereof; To have and to hold the said tract of land and premises herein before mentioned with their and every of their rights and and members, and appurtenances, and every part and parcell thereof unto the said Stoffell Longstreet his heirs and assigns forever to the only proper use, benefit and behoofe of the said Stofell Longstreet his heirs and assigns forever. In manner and form following that is to say that the said Thomas Huett on the day of the date hereof is lawfully and absolutely seized of and in the said tract of land and meadow and other the premises herein before mentioned and intended to be hereby granted and of every part and parcell thereof of a good sure lawfull perfect and indefeezable estate of inheritance in fee simple without any condition, trust, power of revocation or limitation of any use or uses or any other restraint, matter or thing whatsoever to alter, charge, change, encumber, defeat or hurt the same estate and hath or have in himself full power and just right and lawfull to grant and convey the said estate unto the said Stofell Longstreet according to the ----- intent and meaning of these presents and that the said estate is free and clearly discharged of and from all former and other grants, bargains, sales, leases, joyntures, dowers, mortgages, entails or incumbrances whatsoever; The proprietors quit rent which is due and payable from the twenty fifth day of March which was in the year one thousand six hundred ninety six unto the day of the date thereof as all so the quit rent that shall from the sealing and delivery hereof be due and payable for the said land excepted and resarved; and he the said Thomas Huett for himself his heirs, executors and administrators do covenant, grant, promise and agree to and with the said Stofell Longstreet his heirs and assigns that he the said Thomas Huett his heirs, executors and administrators for and during the term, time and space of seven years now next ensuing at and upon the Request, cost and charges in the law of the said Stofell Longstreet his heirs and assigns shall make, do and execute unto the said Stofell Longstreet his heirs and assigns all such further and other conveyances and assurances in the law for the full and more better assuring and perfect making of the said tract of land and premises hereby granted unto the said Stofell Longstreet his heirs or assigns as by him the said Stofell Longstreet his heirs or assigns or their council learned in the Law shall reasonably be devised, advised, advised or required. In Witness whereof the above said Thomas Huett hath hereunto set his hand and fixed his seal this the day and year first above written.
