I Stephen Woolley, of Shrewsbury in the County of Monmouth And State of New Jersey, Being Diseased of Body but of Sound Mind and perfect Memory thanks be to God Do Make this my Last Will and Testament. Revoking all others heretofore made Do publish this my Late Will and Tef- Tament. Firfh, [First] I will and Bequity my sole into the hand of the Living God who gives it and my Body I commits To the Dust till it shall be raised at the judgment of The Great day to be entered with such expenses as my Executor shall think fit as to my Worldly Estates that It has pleased Gods to Beftow [Bestow] upon me I Gives and Bequith in manners and do form following~ Firth [First] I will and Bequith to my son James the sum Of five shillings, second I will and Bequith to my Son Elihu the sum of five shillings or one Iron Pot that he has got in his hands at this time, at His election. Third I gives and Bequith to my Daughter Ruth Jackson five shillings, Fourth I Wills and Bequith to my son Asee the sum of Five shillings Fifth I will and Bequith to my son John the sum of five shillings Sixth I will and Bequith to my son Peter the sum of five shillings Seventh I will and Bequith to my son Clayton the sum of Eight Dollars Eighth I give and Bequith to --Page 87 To my son Joseph the two Iron Pots in his possessions and also One large Cheft [Chest] that is in his pofsefsions, [possession] __all the rest of my pro- Perty Real and Personally I gives and Bequith to be Equally di- Vided Between My son Christopher Woolley and my daughter Zilphia Williams after my lawful Debts is paid and also I leave It to the discretions of my Executor hereafter named to sell my Real Estate or divide the same Between my son Christopher Woolley and daughter Zilphia Williams as he in his discre Tions shall thinks beft [best] and to makes goods and lawful Titles for the sames ~I constitutes and appoints my trusty Friend Elihu Chadwick my lawfull Executor and enjoin It upon him to see this my laft [last] Will and Teftaments well Done and performed. In testimony Whereof I have set my hand and Seal this fifteenth day of March in the years of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and five ~1805. Stephen [His X Mark] Woolley Witnefses [Witnesses] to the signing publish Ing pronouncing this to be his The Laft [Last] Will and Teftament [Testament] of The said Stephen Woolley Signed: John Williams Deborah Williams Rubin Jeffrey John Williams, one of the Witnesfses to the Within Will, being duly fworn [sworn] according to law, did deposes and Say that he saw Stephen Woolley, the teftator [testator] therein named Sign and seal the same and heard him publish, pronounce And declare the within writing to be his laft [Last]Will & teftament --that at the doing thereof the said Teftator was of sound And disposing mind and memory as far as this deponents Knows and by his veribly believes and that Deborah Williams And Rubens Jeffery, the others subscribing Evidence were Of pretents at the same time and signed their names as wit Nesses to the said Wills together with the deponents, in the presences of the said Teftator. John Williams Sword at Freeholds the 24th Day of April 1805 - Befores me R Throckmorton, Surrogates Elihu Chadwick, sole Executor in the Within Teftament named, being duly fworn on the Holy Evangelish Of Almighty God, did depose and say that this within Informant Contains the true Last Wills and Teftament of Stephen Woolley. The Teftator thereins named, so far as he knows and as he Veribly believes that he will well and truly perform the same. By paying first the debts of the said deceafed and then the lega Cies in the said Teftaments specified, so far as the Goods, Chat Tells and credits of this said deceafeds [deceased] can thereunto extend That he will make and exhibit into the Surrogates Office --Page 88 Of the County of Monmouth, a true and perfect Inventory of All and singular the Goods, Chatels and Credits of the said Deceafed that have or shall come to his knowledge or Pofsession [possession] or to the profsefsions [possession]of any other person or Persons for his use and render a Just and true ac Count when thereinto lawfully required. [Signed By] Elihu Chadwick Sworn at Freehold the 24th April 1805 - Before me R Throckmorton, Surrogate The foregoing Will being proved, Probate was granted by myself to Elihu Chadwick. The Executor for the said Will named, he being first duly Sworn well and truly to perform the same, exhibits a True and perfect Inventory, and render a Just and True accounts when thereinto lawfully required, given Under the Surrogate Seal of the County of Monmouth, The day and year laft [last]above written.
