The suit was put off for the term. In the Quarter Session the following prisoners were brought to the bar and plead as follows: Jos F. Till, bigamy; plead not guilty. Benjamin Beam, petit larceny; plead guilty. Edward A. Johnson, larceny; plead not guilty. Geo. and Wm. Spencer, larceny; plead not guilty. Harvey Bird, cruelty to animals; plead not guilty. Martin Cook, disorderly house; plead guilty. Patrick Lyons, disorderly house; plead guilty. Matthew Fanning, assault and battery; plead not guilty. Warren Wear, assault and battery; plead not guilty.
