L. Schlager, of this city, to the effect that his sister, Mrs. Emma Toothe, had died in Zurich, Switzerland, yesterday morning. Mrs. Toothe was fifty-one years of age and was the wife of William Toothe, a prominent man in railroad circles. On account of poor health she left her home in New York city, accompanied by her daughter, for Switzerland, where she hoped to regain her health. Mrs. Toothe is survived by one son and two daughters, a sister, Mrs. Canos of Chicago, and her brother, W. L. Schlager, of this city. The remains will be brought to New York for interment.
