WARREN'S SON INJURED While wrestling Friday afternoon in the gymnasium of Princeton University at Princeton, N.J., Harold Collins Warren, a Junior of Swarthmore, Pa., broke one of the vertebrae at the base of his neck. He was taken to the University infirmary, where the lower part of his body soon became paralyzed. The young man passed a quiet night, and is conscious and in good spirits, conversing at intervals with his parents who hurried to him as soon as they learned of his injury. Warren is the son of Dr. George W. Warren, a dentist, of 730 Harvard ave, Swarthmore, and whose office is at 1611 Walnut st., Philadelphia, and a son of the late Dr. Warren of this place and well known to all in this vicinity. When Dr. Warren left for Princeton Friday night he was accompanied by Dr. Clarence Bartlett and Dr. Dean Elliott, of the Hahnemann medical staff. At the time of the accident Warren was engaging in practice "holds" with Major D. Griffith, a senior whose home is in Jenkintown, Pa. Warren's opponent employed it is understood, what is known in collegiate circles as the "Yale hold" or "Yale lock". Warren was just twenty years old, the day of the accident being also his birthday. He weighs 160 pounds. He was taking a classical course at Princeton preparatory to studying for the ministry. Warren was graduated from Swarthmore Preparatory School in 1908 and made a record for himself there as a good student. He was a member of the school track team, performing in the high jump but did not go in for any other branch of sports while at this school.
