Jacobus-Jones-Doremus Cemetery, Passaic Co., NJ

This early family burial plot is located in Wayne, New Jersey, on what was once 
Ryerson farm land.  It is now a highly developed residential area.  Luckily, the plot 
has not been destroyed and is now located on the north corner of the front lawn of a 
very modern house at No. 14 Morgan Court.  The following list was made in 1892 and 
confirmed in 1964.  Many of the stones are now lost.

JACOBUS, Tuye, wife of James Jacobus; d. Mar. 12, 1807, aged 92 years, 7 mo.

JONES, Elizabeth, daughter of Nicholas & Susanna Jones; d. Sept. 9, 1787, aged 3.1.13.

JONES, Elizabeth, daughter of Samuel & Elizabeth Jones; d. Jan. 11, 1768, aged 2.8.10.

JONES, Capt. Nicholas; d. June 18, 1794, aged 44 years.

JONES, Elizabeth, wife of Nicholas Jones; d. Sept. 6, 1782, aged 31 years.

JONES, Elizabeth, wife of Samuel Jones; d. Oct. 4, 1765, aged 27 years.

JONES, Nicholas; d. July 23, 1775, aged 73 years.

JONES, Mary, wife of Nicholas Jones; d. july 31, 1796, aged 81 years.

MANDEVILLE, infant of Cornelius & Jane Jones mandeville; d. Oct. 6, 1810, aged 27 days.
