(Bridgeton, N.J.) 1851-1884: July 09, 1859 July 9, 1859 On Wednesday last, Mr. John Fish, while coming down Reeves’ Hill, Allowaystown, with a load of coal, the horse commenced running, and in the attempt to get out of the back of the wagon Mr. Fish was thrown on his head and instantly killed. Many of our readers will remember him as the charcoal man, who always sold a good article, and gave gospel measure.
