Serious Accident.— We learn with regret, that a son of Mr. William G. Woodnutt, of
Mannington, Salem co., aged about 12 years had his hand so mangled by being caught
in a threshing machine, as to be compelled to suffer its amputation. Dr. Thompson
performed the operation. The little fellow bore his sufferings manfully.
