All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nj/njfiles.htm ************************************************ Elizabeth (NJ) Daily Journal, Oct. 18, 1928 Special to the Journal PLAINFIELD, Oct. 18---Adam Haag, 71 years old, a former resident of Elizabeth, died this morning after a brief illness at the home of a daughter, Mrs Arthur Springer, 1334 West Fourth street. He was born in Germany and for 45 years lived in Elizabeth. For the past two years he resided with his daughter here following his retirement by the Singer Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the Sick Benefit Society of the Singer plant in Elizabeth, the Elizabeth Independent Schuetzen Corps, and the Bayeiesche National Society. Mr Haag is survived by his wife, Mrs Elizabeth Haag, and three daughters, Miss Harriet Haag, Mrs T Jaeger and Mrs Arthur Springer, all of Plainfield.
