LINDEN--Jacob Reuther, 78, of 2142 E St. George Ave., proprietor of a tavern in
Kearney 40 years, died today at his home after a long illness.

Mr Reuther was born in Harrison and had lived most of his life in that town and
in Kearny until he moved to Linden 25 years ago.

Mr Reuther was a member of the Kearny Lodge 1050, BPO Elks, and the Kearny
Tavern Keepers' Assn.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Frank T Burns Funeral Home, 2124 E St George Ave.
