At the outbreak of the Civil war he enlisted in Company H, Thirtieth New Jersey Volunteers, serving nine months, He was admitted to the bar in 18?2, and for several years was associated in the practice of law with his son. Mr. RUNYON was a charter member of the Y.M.C.A and Park Avenue Baptist Church, Besides Assembly RUNYON, he is survived by another son, Charles T Runyon.
