Charles Stanley, Foreman for SO

ROSELLE---Charles V Stanley, 49, of 611 Meadow St., a foreman for the Standard
Oil Co. 29 years, died last night in Alexian Brothers Hospital, Elizabeth, after
a long illness.

Son of the late John F and Mrs Catherine Stanley, Mr Stanley was born in New
York. He had lived here 28 years, but spent much of his time at Standard Oil
instllations [sic] in Venezuela.

Mr Stanley was a communicant of St Joseph's Church here.

He leaves his wife, Mrs Mary Margaret Stanley; a daughter, Mrs Rita Payne of
Alexandria, VA; five brothers, Matthew and John, Roselle; Frank, Westfield;
William, Asbury; and Thomas, Buffalo, NY; and a sister, Mrs Rita Laing, South
Plainfield.

The funeral will be from the Prall Funeral Home, 124 E First Ave.
