Mrs Margaret A Townley
special to the New York Times
Rochester, NY, Feb 6---Mrs Margaret A Townley, mother of Supreme Court Justice 
Alfred H Townley of New York, and oldest resident of Canadaigua, died last 
night at the home of her daughter, Mrs Charles F Milliken, in that city. She 
was born Aug. 7, 1835, daughter of David F and Mary A Searing Higgins of 
Cranford, NJ, and was the last survivor of seven children. She was the widow 
of the Rev. Hugh Townley of Westfield, NJ.
