I, John H Kidd of the City of Elizabeth, County of Union and State of New
Jersey, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make and publish this
my last Will and Testament, in the manner following, that is to say:
First: I order and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be
paid as soon as they conveniently can be paid after my decease.
Second: I give, devise and bequeath all my property, both real and personal,
wheresoever situate, and of whatsoever kind, to my children, namely: Sichie
Creely, Susie Tyson, Louise Henry, Ida Barry, Lucinda Froat, Josephine
Edmondson, Julia Farin, Addie Kirk and John H Kidd Junior, share and share
alike. In the event of any one or more of my children departing this life before
me, I givem devise and bequeath the share of such deceased child or children, to
the lawful issue of said deceased child or children.
Third: I give, devise and bequeath to my son, John H Kidd Jr. my watch and
chain, and also the family bible.
Lastly: I nominate and appoint my son, John H Kidd Jr. Executor of this, my Last
Will and Testament, without bonds, with full power to grant, bargain, sell, and
convey any or all of my lands to any person or persons in fee simple or
otherwise, at public or private sale at such time and upon such terms as he
shall think best.
In witness whereof, I, the said John H Kidd, have hereunto set my hand and seal
this twenty-seventh day of October, nineteen hundred and thirteen.

be his last Will and Testament in our presence, who in his presence and at his
request and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as
witnesses
