The submittor has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ************************************************************************ The list is from the collection of the Genealogical Society of New Jersey Transcribed as Written: On File at Rutgers, NJ Files: This cemetery is locatedon the southerly side of the Old Edison Road about 0.4 mile west of the junction of that road with the Broadway-Asbury Road,the junction being 1 mile south of Route 24 and almost opposite the Broadway Grange Hall,The old stone church a complete ruin,is nearby with a tree growing through its roof. The cemetery is now part of a hillside pasture and is fats disappearing as stone after stone in knooked down and broken.Several of those still remaining are badly weathered. In addition to those listed there were four unmarked field stones which were still in place and there had probaly been a number more of the same which have suffered the same fate as the regular headstones. # 1Fishbaugh,John*;wife Asenath*;son Elisha T.,d.Feb 25,1851,a.9 mos and 23 days. # 2Kinney,William C.,d.Feb 24 1846,age 67 yrs #3 R- -N,William*,wife Elizabeth*,son John,d.Apr 12,1812.Age is completely obliterated.The familyname may be Roon but only the R andfinal n are clearly readable. #4 Thatcher,Clorenda,d.Jan 29 1826 in 67th yr. #5 Thatcher,Elisha,b.Feb 23 1769 d.Nov13 1845;wife Mary;dau Susanna d.Aug 23 1820,a12.4.13;son Samuel,d.Sept 19th 1802,a11mos.[ There is a stone on which the name Mary Thatcher can be read,which is probably the one for this Mary Thatcher,but rest of stone is weathered practically smoth] #6 Thatcher,John*;wife Mary*;dau.Susannah,d.Nov 11 1821,a.2mos and 6 days. [ This stone was in fragments but could be pieced together for reading] #7 Thatcher,John A.*;wife Almira*;son John,d.May 3 1844 a.11dys #8 Thatcher,Thomas,son of Thomas* and Susannah*,d Apr 1830 in 77th yr #9 Thatcher,Thomas*;wife Aner,d Aug.1845,a.87yrs. #10 Thatcher,Thomas*;wife Elizabeth*;dau Mary Ann,d.Feb 19 1830,a.18 dys #11 Thatcher,Thomas*.See Thomas Thatcher.
