All Rights Reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nj/njfiles.htm ********************************************************* Almeda (Hammond) Gulick Mrs. Almeda Gulick, known in the vicinity where she lived as "Grandma" died at her home in Clarkston yesterday afternoon (undated, d. 7 Feb 1924) at the advanced age of 85 years. She was a daughter. of Joel and Elizabeth Hammond, and was born in Hackettstown, N.J. Nov. 28, 1835. She was brought to Clarkston by her parents when only three years old and had made her home in that village ever since. Mrs. Gulick was united in marriage the Henry Gulick July 1, 1854, and seven children were born to this union. Three preceded her in death, Mrs. Ada Lawlor, Mrs. Nettie Crosby, and Samuel. She is survived by four sons, Jacob, Joseph and William of Clarkston, and Leman of Pontiac. Mrs. Henry Lewis of Bay City is a sister, and there are eight grandchildren, 13 great grand children and 7 great great grandchildren --- was a life long of Clarkston Baptist church --- burial in Lakeview Cemtery.
