Born in Port Colden, Mrs PITTENGER was a daughter of the late James A and Louisa MAJOR. She was the wife of Walter PITTENGER. She formerly taught school in Port Colden, Montana, Cornish and B owerstown, N.J.She was a member of Washinton Methodist Church and the WSCS of the church. Suvivors include a daughter Mrs Stephen POLIACIK, Trenton,N.J. and three grandchildren.The funeral will be held ar 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the DeVoe Funeral Homw, Washington. =========== Pittenger Agnes Major 9/15/1966 p.24 Mrs Walter Pittenger The funeral of Mrs.Agnes MAJOR PITTENGER, 80, OF 228 Belvidere Ave., Washington N.J. was held yesterday afternoon at the DeVoe Funeral Home, Washington. Mrs.PITTENGER, wife of Walter PITTENGER. died Sunday at her home. The Rev.Dr. Fredrick G Hinett of Washington Methodist Church officiated. Internment was in Washington Cemetery. The pallbearers were Walter FITZ, Enoch BROAD, Paul BLACK, John POLIACIK, George SKOW and Raymond MAJOR.
