Abraham Runyon,the vecerable father of ex Chancellor Theodore  Runyon,died 
on Wednesday morning of last week,at 3 0'clock,at the residance of Mrs Jaremiah 
Van Winkle ofCentral avenue,Plainfield.Mr Runyon celebrated his ninetheth 
birthday on Tuesday,January 13,at which time he received visits from his 
children and friends and seemed in very good health.
Two hours before his death he was up and about his room,Mr Runyon suffered 
from no disease,the vital machinery which had been running so long and so well 
simply stopped.His mother lived to the age of ninety years and two months,and 
if he had lived to the 13th of March he would have been the same age,He 
belonged to a long  ?? family,Mr Runyonwas well known in Belvidere,for several,
