The submittor has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ************************************************************************ Mrs. Rebecca Woolever Vogel Widow of James Vogel, Died Tuesday morning, February 23, 1943, at the home of her son, Floyd Vogel of 306 Madison Street, at the age of 89 years. She was born Feb. 6,1854 and was a lifelong resident of Hackettstown. Mrs. Vogel leaves two other sons, Stewart Vogel of Halstead, Pa. and Morris L. Vogel of Scranton, Pa; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Bivins of Brooklyn; a sister, Mrs. William Caskey of Gainseville, Texas; also grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Mrs. Vogel was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and the Home Department of the church. Funeral services will be held this (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Cochran Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Sydney Grant of St. James Episcopal Church,and the Rev. Dr. George W. Roesch of Trinity Methodist Church. Burial will be in Hackettstown Union Cemetery. Obit is on file at the Hackettstown Libray.
